That is SO exactly what skype is for. A friend of mine has skype set up to call her tv (webcam hooked up to the tv) and it auto answers so she can catch glimpses of her cat napping while she is at work. Also a good use for skype. Meow.
That's excellent - I wondered what I might do with the webcam once David comes home (if he ever comes home) and now you've given me a great idea! CatCam!
